REVIEW

Amy Lee has the focused ability to be a quiet observer of life and what lies in her imagination.  Preferring to communicate visually, she has made images all her life and has strengthened this through extensive art study.  This combined with a fertile imagination and a love of reading has successfully blossomed in her first contribution to Heather McKay's book. Her drawings sensitively extend the feeling and thought of the author's story, at the same time expressing herself with charm, warmth and playful wonderment.  She is an unique young artist, yet one can sense in her work something of old time books right up to present day anime.  Amy Lee is a natural illustrator and I am looking forward to what she does next.
